Requirements

I. To take the ASMT National Certification Requirements:

Must be 18 years old or older
Must be High School Graduate or High School Equivalent
Graduate of a TRADE school/provide Copy of Certificate corresponding with title corresponding to the title or exams to be taken. Certificate should not be 5 years old or older.

Provide letter from employer that he/she is working for 2 years or more with corresponding title of certification applying for.

5. A fee of $110.00 payable to: American Society of Medical Technicians

1. Working 5 years or more as a Medical Technician (Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist/Nurse Technician, etc.)

2. A letter from Supervisor, certifying that the participant has 5 or more years experience doing the title mentioned above.
